It’s A Cheetos Thing
As part of a small team, we had to prop up cheetos from just another snack
to a staple in internet culture on a tight (or non-existant) budget.
We grew Cheetos’ instagram followers by 50%,
as well as engaging with celebrities through social.
And making some funny memes along the way.
Then we got our next challenge, launch NEW Cheetos Popcorn on the biggest stage, The Superbowl.
We had spent a year building up our community and making Cheetos cooler than ever.
We engaged with fans live during the game and created custom touchdown dance GIFs using a mo-cap studio in real time.
We hit #10 in brand affinity during The Big Game, and the buzz kept going for weeks after, racking up millions of views.
We took Cheetos from just another cheesy snack on the aisle to one of the internet’s favorite brands.
